Vancouver Winter Olympic Games...  Robi will be helping out the Vancouver Organizing Committee with live venue announcing at this up coming winter's Olympics in Canada.  

 US AIR FORCE MARATHON -  Robi will be joining the USAF Marathon Staff in 2009 as a co-host for the weekends racing and celebrations at Wright Patterson Airforce Base.

Marine Corps Marathon....The 33rd Running of the World’s "People’s Marathon" has come to a close.  I don’t even know where to start in telling the story of how emotional this event is to all involved.  The USMC once again put it’s best foot forward...their supprt of this event ... let alone their service to our country is beyond words...they are OUTSTANDING.   This is a huge race with the stresses of a huge race...for runners...there are lines here and there...whether it be taxi’s, metro stations, buses... or whatever.....but that’s true of EVERY major international gathering of runners.   This event is for those that want to experience something very special... it’s not for those that are looking for the quick jet set "I’m all paid up and stressed out to run my 12th plus marathon of the year"...   To me this event is for those that see the need to run this race in honor of our USMC and all that they represent, it’s for those that want to run in a speical setting...where they can run in memory of a loved one, it’s about organizations putting their best foot forward to raise funds and awarness for their great causes.   This is simply one of the greatest "events" that takes place on any nation’s running calendar each year.   Special thanks to Marc Goldman and Rick Nealis .. along with the USMC for having me bac this year... to Chaplan Crimblit-USN  for his staff’s awesome support of all things spiritual...to Nomad Sound for dong such a nice job... to Ken Berger for sharing the stage with a nut from Colorado...and at this race in particular...to the Families and Friends... who at this race make the Finishline...Battle on the Arlington Wall something very very special.  Dave McG came and gave one of the most impressive pre-race evening pasta dinner talks... my Bud Bart Yasso shared experience and insight to so many first timers throughout the weekend... and the USMC MCM Staff...once again showed that they are every bit as squared away as their USMC counterparts.    This event is a must do in every marathon runner’s lifetime... I hope all marathoners are able to capture this finishline during their stay on earth... God Speed to all our members of the Armed Forces!... 

Rod and Emma....Celebrate at NY City Marathon... 25 years ago Emma watched her dad win the NYCM...  this year... ChronoTrac D Tag Timing System ...  We had the DTag at both the Marine Corps Marathon and Bass Pro Shops Fitness Festival and Las Vegas Marathon ... once again it worked perfectly...  Congrat's to the ChronoTrack DTag staff for coming up with this walk away system that seems to be becoming the system of choice for the nations huge events.
